Overall: I could not put this book down. It was so much fun to read that I would be falling asleep before I would actually put my Nook away. I had to or else I would just keep reading it! I can't wait to see what happens next in Prodigy.

My Thoughts: While I really, really loved Legend I have to say that a lot of what happened in the book was met with some sense of me knowing what would happen next. The story was really good, and I can't say what it was that was predictable about the book without giving too much away, but it was slightly predictable. That being said I could't stop reading it. From the moment that June was scolded by her older brother for climbing up the side of building to the moment that Day saw the strange X marked on his family's front door I was hooked.

I would read this book at night before bed, just as I do a lot of my reading, but it was always a mistake because I had to know what happened next. I had to know what June would do after the death of her brother. I had to know how Day would wiggle his way out of yet another problem. I had to know, and that quality in this book alone made me love it.

Recommended For: Mid-to-high school students who like Science Fiction-y reads. Lovers of the Hunger Games or Divergent would definitely love this book.
